​Dear ISAC Member Society colleagues

As you know, ISAC is hosting the 33rd International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC) in Istanbul, Turkey from 3 – 6 November 2024.

We are keen to involve our Member Societies and have as many society representatives attend the congress as possible.

For the first time, all Member Societies are invited to submit a poster to promote their society. This will be an opportunity to inform ICC attendees about your organisation, its activities and any upcoming events. The posters will form an integral part of the ICC and you will be given the opportunity to present your poster. The posters will be displayed for the duration of the congress.

To allow you to attend the congress, ISAC will waive the registration fee for one representative of your society. This should be the person who will present the poster.

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 33rd International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC), we are delighted to extend our warm invitation to you to participate in this prestigious event. The congress will be held at the Istanbul Congress Center in Istanbul, Türkiye, 3 – 6 November 2024.

As the biennial congress of the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC) (http://www.isac.world) the ICC is the most important event in the field of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology worldwide. This year, the congress will be co-hosted by the Turkish Society of Hospital Infections and Control (HIDER) (www.hider.org.tr), a member of ISAC.

The Congress Programme Committee has prepared an outstanding programme of plenary lectures, keynote speeches, symposia, and workshops by a line-up of world-renowned experts in the field of antimicrobial chemotherapy. Oral and poster sessions will be an integral part of the programme, and all delegates are invited to submit abstracts.

The congress will provide a unique platform for professionals to interact, learn, and exchange ideas, fostering new collaborations and partnerships. We have also planned a range of social events to enhance networking and to give you the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of Istanbul.

ABOUT THE CONGRESS

The International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC) is an international society which is also a registered charity (www.ISAC.world). ISAC aims to advance the education and the science of therapy of infection through the establishment of an international federation of affiliated national and regional societies with similar aims and objectives to those of the Charity. One of its main activities is the International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC). The ICC has been held around the globe every two years since 1959. The 33rd ICC will be held in Istanbul, Turkey from 3 to 6 November 2024, in conjunction with the Turkish Society of Hospital Infections and Control (HIDER) (www.hider.org.tr).
